Nexford and PiggyVest partnership opens doors for learners affected by ASUU Strike
40 initial learners will benefit from a 100% scholarship, paid for 3 months, to advance their skills and careers
To help learners expand their career options and earn an American certificate 100% online, Nexford University and PiggyVest have teamed up to offer 40 learners a scholarship to help those affected by the strikes to upskill and become exposed to internship opportunities and continuous learning whilst at home.
This scholarship will cover 100% of the 40 recipients’ tuition fees for 3 months, which is the average time it takes to complete the certificate program.
Commenting on this exciting partnership, Dr. Jennifer Bangoura, Nexford’s Director of Career Innovation said, “We are honored to partner with a company like PiggyVest. PiggyVest embodies what it means to be future-focused, innovative, and customer-centric – values that are embedded throughout Nexford’s curriculum. With this partnership, students affected by the ongoing ASUU strike would have access to an uninterrupted learning experience from an international organization to build essential skills to remain competitive in an ever-changing job market.”
